HAPPY HANSON DAY!!

Today it is OFFICIALLY HANSON DAY!! On May 6, 1997 when The Middle of Nowhere first came out, the then mayor of Tulsa, Oklahoma announced that day as officially HANSON DAY. It was originally only supposed to be for that one day but since that time loyal fans have continued to celebrate HANSON DAY every year :) Fun Fact: The boys were not present at the time of this announcement....in fact they were not even in Tulsa! They were promoting MON in California and performed their hit MMMBop on the David Letterman show that night. I know this because of the ADORABLE video below:

It appears that the boys will officially be celebrating Hanson day May 16 & 17th! So if worse comes to worse and we can't celebrate Hanson Day this week, we can always do it next week when lucky "member-only" fans will be attending the official HANSON DAY with the boys! Their Hanson Day consists of free concerts, fan interaction, members-only dinner, bowling tournament, an "I love Hanson" Store, art gallery, Q&A type session with the boys, an after party and more!! Man, these guys do so much for their fans! Kind of makes me wish I was a Hanson.net member....but even if I was, there is no way I'd be able to travel all the way to Tulsa, Oklahoma next weekend :(

I can't believe how far these boys have come! They said that it has been 22 years since they have been a band! WHAT!? And they aren't even that old!! They're only in their early 30's and Zac is only 28 or 29 or something!! They also mentioned that this year (April 20, 2014) was the 10 year anniversary of their "Underneath" album! I only just bought that CD and started listening to all the great songs.....this is too weird.

My only request in the above video is: Zac, PLEASE cut your hair and Taylor, PLEASE grow yours out again!!

HAPPY HANSON DAY!!

22 YEARS OF INCREDIBLE MUSIC!

THANK YOU!!
